Harrogate’s St Mark’s Church is preparing to perform a major musical production for charity in the run-up to Easter.
The Last Week, which runs from Monday, March 30 to Wednesday, April 1 at 7.30pm, will see nearly 100 people involved in the production, children and adults, both onstage and behind the scenes.
The show, which remembers the last week of Jesus’s life and throws up new angles of the events that took place during Holy Week, has been written by a member of the church, Peter Knowles.
This lavish production will also feature a number of original songs composed by another member of St Mark’s Church, Jonathan Dixon.
Proceeeds will go to two local charities - The Harrogate Homeless Project and In2Out, which supports young offenders upon release from detention.
Everyone is welcome to come and enjoy the show at S Mark’s Church on Leeds Road.
Tickets for The Last Week are available on the door or in advance by calling 01423 544528.
There is disabled access and parking available and refreshments will be served during the interval.
