Local bands are being urged to sign up for Richmond’s summer music festival, Castle Calling.
Organisers of the event – Richmondshire District Youth Council – want to see as many locally based bands as possible play.
Castle Calling is returning to the grounds of RichmondCastle on August 31 after a two year gap.
And although there will be some headline acts it is also hoped that a host of local talent will take to the stage too.Bands should log on to castlecalling.co.uk and complete an application form by June 29. There will be no fee for local bands.
The event is targeted at young people from the age of 11 upwards and is strictly alcohol free.
Tickets - priced £6 in advance (£8 on the gate) – will be available soon.
