It may currently be in the UK box office top 20 with a date set for a big US release in the summer but Testament of Youth’s run at the Harrogate Odeon - even though it’s directed by Harrogate man James Kent!
After a pledge by the Harrogate Advertiser to run a new article each week the film was on show in his home town, James tweeted: “Thanks for the great article Graham and big thumbs up for the film. It’s doing well!”
Sadly, despite the Advertiser’s best efforts - and the fact Testament of Youth has already made £1.4m at the UK box office in only three weeks, the film is not being screened at the Harrogate Odeon after tonight, Thursday.
Fortunately it’s still on at Curzon Ripon from Friday, February 6.
