Kirk Deighton Rangers boss Dan Marshall has questioned the Harrogate & District Premier’s scheduling.
Marshall will be without eight players for their showdown at Rawdon Old Boys on Saturday. The fixture schedule for this weekend was released on Friday, January 24.
Marshall said it allowed no time for forward planning.
He said: “How can I say to my players ‘I want you available for those games’ when the games are decided a week before? It’s becoming frustrating.” Deighton have played just once in the last six weeks, and Saturday’s clash at Knaresborough Celtic again fell foul of heavy rainfall.
Marshall’s team lie sixth in Harrogate & District League with five games in hand. Rawdon are second behind leaders Harlow Hill.
“Hopefully this week we will get it on,” added Marshall.
