Harrogate Town have completed the signing of Harrogate Railway striker Nathan Cartman on non-contract terms.
Cartman will slot straight into Town’s squad for Saturday’s home clash against Stalybridge Celtic on Saturday (kick-off 3pm).
The forward will remain dual-registered between the two clubs.
Cartman has scored 13 goals this season in Evo-Stik First Division North.
He excelled on trial with Town in Wednesday night’s 3-1 victory over Leeds United, scoring the Sulphurites’ third against his former club.
Town boss Simon Weaver said: “We are delighted he’s on board.
“He’s got a big part to play for both Harrogate clubs between now and end of the season.”
Cartman previously played for Town on loan when he was on the books of Leeds as a youngster.
The striker has attracted the interest of several other clubs over the course of this season, including NCEL Premier side Tadcaster Albion.
He has also played at Liversedge and Brighouse Town.
