The Rotary Club of Harrogate Brigantes’ Service of Remembrance followed a morning service at the War Memorial in Harrogate town centre.
Families joined veterans and people from across the district to pay their respects.
A parade organised by the Harrogate branch of the Royal British Legion arrived at the War Memorial for the service.
MP for Harrogate and Knaresborough Andrew Jones and the Mayor of Harrogate Coun Mike Newby laid wreaths at the memorial.
The district observed a two minute silence at 11am on Armistice Day.
