Teenager taken to hospital after crash on A59 near Blubberhouses

A 19-year-old was taken to Harrogate Disrict Hospital after his car rolled over on the A59 near Blubberhouses on the morning of Sunday 23 June 2013.

A around 7.30am, a 19-year-old man from Settle was driving a silver Vauxhall Astra towards Harrogate when he took action to avoid a black Ford Focus which was overtaking a red Mini, both cars were travelling in the opposite direction.

The silver Astra left the road and rolled over and the driver was take to Harrogate District Hospital. He sustained only minor injuries and was released later in the day.

Police are appealing for the drivers of the Focus and the Mini to contact them without delay.

They would also like to hear from anyone who saw any of the vehicles prior to the crash or witnessed the actual incident, to contact them.
