Three music recitals

Three classical recitals in conjunction with the Zetland Foundation take place at the Georgian Theatre Royal Richmond this Autumn.

They start on Tuesday, October 11 October at 7.30pm with a young piano trio playing Beethoven’s Archduke (B flat, opus 97), Janacke-Coxe’s trio (The Kreutzer Sonata) and Ravel’s Trio in A minor.

Pianist Veronika Ilinskaya is joined by Richard Birchall on the cello and Artem Kotov on violin.

The series continues on Tuesday, November 1 with pianist Chris Smith playing Beethoven including the famous ‘Pathetique’ sonata; Bortkiewicz, Mendelssohn, Alkan, Liszt and Chopin.

On Tuesday November 15 violinist Magdalena Filipczak plays a programme including Piazzolla, Britten, Wieniawski and the passionate Sonata in A major by Franck.
