A COMMUNITY archaeologist will be shedding light on an RAF plane crash in Great Ouseburn during World War Two.
Kevin Cale, community archaeologist for the Great Yorkshire Plain Project, will give a talk at Ripon library on the crash which brought down RAF Flamingo in 1942.
The talk, a part of the Festival of British Archaeology, will take place at Ripon library on Wednesday, July 20, at 7pm.
Tickets are £5 per person and are available in advance for the library.
