Ripon Rugby Union Football Club is recruiting junior players for the new season.

Last week over 1,000 promotional flyers were distributed in primary schools across the area and Roecliffe C of E Primary headteacher Kerry Dalton said: “Rugby is a great sport for girls and boys to play. It’s fun and helps contribute to the development of essential skills to aid learning.”

The Club has a vibrant junior section, with over 300 players, coached by RFU qualified coaches.

“Rugby is a great sport for kids of all shapes and sizes, there is a position for everyone,” said U8s head coach Paul Say.

Children, aged six-18, can join. Visit teams section.
