Organisations in Ripon have just two days left to apply to the city council for grant funding for the next financial year.

Ripon City Council says it tries to help as many local groups as possible with grant support, although funds are limited.

Any community groups wishing to be considered for funding are advised that applications must be submitted by Thursday, October 31.

Grants, ranging in value from £200 to £5,000, will be considered for capital and revenue expenditure, providing funds will directly benefit the residents of Ripon.

Application forms are available from the Ripon City Council clerk. Contact Ruth Terry, Clerk to the City Council by email in or telephone 01765 604097.

In previous years, granted have been given to Ripon Youth Café, Carers Resource, Cathedral Concert Society, Rotary Club of Ripon, Ripon Young Musicians, Bread of Life, Ripon International Festival, Ripon Festivals, Greater Ripon Improvement Partnership, the Citizens Advice Bureau and Ripon in Bloom.
