The City of Ripon’s Annual Parish Meeting will be held in Hugh Ripley Hall, on Skellbank, on Thursday, May 29, at 6.30pm.

The meeting is open to all and will give residents an opportunity to hear what the council has been doing in the last 12 months.

There will also be an opportunity to ask questions of the activities of the council.

The City Development Manager, Alan Weston, will also be doing a presentation on the evening on the city development initiative to date.

If you have any specific items that you would like to be discussed these must be included on the agenda for the evening and should be submitted to the Clerk to the City Council no later than Wednesday, April 30 by emailing clerk@ or by post to Ripon City Council, Town Hall, Market Place South, Ripon, HG4 1DD.

Ripon City Council has recently acquired the lease of Hugh Ripley Hall from the borough council and councillors and staff will be on-hand after the meeting to show anyone who would like to have a look around the facilities.

Agendas will be posted on the town hall notice board and the city council website,, at least sevendays prior to the meeting.
