The show will go on for Ripon Rowel Players thanks to long standing member Marguerite Moss.
The players, who are due to present Allo, Allo at Ripon Leisure Centre next week, suffered a blow when principal actress, Gillian Bradley needed to leave the show to nurse her sick husband.
Marguerite stepped into the role of Edith, Rene the cafe owner’s wife, learning and rehearsing the part at short notice ready for curtain up.
The show starts on Thursday, July 14 at 7.30pm with the last performance on Saturday, July 16.
Tickets are available at from Hays Travel, Westgate, Ripon, members of the company or on the door priced at £7 or £5 for concessions.
