People across North Yorkshire at risk from the effects of flu are being encouraged to get the seasonal flu vaccine from their GP practice.

NHS North Yorkshire and York is responsible for ensuring people who are most at risk from flu get protected.

You can get a free flu jab from your GP if you are 65 or over, have a serious medical condition such as heart disease, diabetes etc, are the main carer for an elderly or disabled family member or if you are pregnant.
