THE wedding between Ruth Mary Greenbank, daughter of Richard and Rosemarie Greenbank of Roecliffe, York and John Francis Graham, son of John and Jean Graham of Haver Close, Lofthouse, Harrogate took place at St Mary's Church, Roecliffe and was officiated by the Rev Philip Smith. Mrs Christine Wilson played the organ and the music chosen was the Bridal March by Wagner and the Wedding March by Mendelssohn.
The bride who was given away by her father wore an ivory strapless dress with crystal and sequin detail and a train and carried a posy of cream roses, pink edged roses, blue thistle, bluebells and eucalyptus. The bride's sister Mrs Sarah Longster was bridesmaid and wore a full length silvery blue dress with silver detail and carried a posy matching the bride's.
Best man Richard Church was supported by groomsmen Michael Longster, the bride's brother-in-law and the bridegroom's cousin and Thomas Greenbank, the bride's brother.
The couple celebrated with a hog roast at Sawley Village Hall and honeymooned on the west coast of Scotland. The bride works in the office for WE Jameson and Son Ltd at Masham and the bridegroom is a farmer and agricultural contractor.
The couple requested donations for Yorkshire Air Ambulance and Cancer Research UK instead of wedding gifts.
