The third of this season’s four Ripon Ghost Walks led by local historian and author Maurice Taylor, takes place next Wednesday, August 17.
The walk which covers local legend, deaths and folklore, starts at 7.30pm from the Cabmen’s Shelter in the Market Place and lasts about one and a half hours.
The walks are not suitable for children under about nine years of age or adults of an anxious disposition but can be attended by wheelchair users.
Tickets on the day cost £2 for adults, £1.50 for accompanied children up to 16. A 50p reduction for tickets bought in advance from Ripon Tourist Information Centre on 01765 604625.
