Two colleagues from a Northallerton superstore have been raising money for The Herriot Hospice Homecare.
Thomas Lamb and Daniel Rocks ran the Tees Pride 10k Run in Middlesbrough to raise £200 for the hospice.
Thomas and Daniel work at Sainsbury’s, Northallerton which has chosen the hospice as its charity of the year.
Thomas said: “We both took part in the event last year and really enjoyed it.
“The pain we suffered afterwards was worth it, and this year we managed to beat our times, completing the run in 1 hour, 8 minutes.
“It has been a great help towards making our partnership with the charity a big success this year”
More events to support the hospice have taken place including a book stall which made over £300.
