Ripon police are appealing for information from members of the public in relation to the following incidents:

Monday, May 12-Tuesday, May 13:

– Overnight two bikes were stolen from addresses on Clotherholme Park, Ripon. A Scott road bike valued at £800 and a black-framed mountain bike with white forks and handbars valued at £200 were taken.

– Overnight a wooden patio set consisting of a round table and four chairs valued at £300 was stolen from a garden on Williamson Close, Ripon.

Saturday, May 17:

– A Samsung Galaxy mobile phone with a white folding case was stolen from outside the Courthouse Museum.

– Overnight on May 17-18 a shop window was broken on Kirkgate, Ripon, valued at £200.

Sunday, May 18:

– In the afternoon a shed was broken into at an address in South Stainley and an orange KTM 250 EXC off-road motor bike valued at £5,000 was stolen.

Saturday, May 24:

– A 51-year-old man and a 46-year-old woman were arrested and charged in connection with a theft from Boots in Ripon after cosmetics worth £74 were stolen at 3pm.

– An assault happened in the vicinity of Sainsbury’s in Ripon in the early afternoon. A number of youths were involved in the incident.

Monday, May 26:

– A 36-year-old man was arrested and charged in connection with thefts of £95 worth of meat from Sainsbury’s and £25 worth of groceries from Home Bargains in Ripon.
