THE following were dealt with by Harrogate magistrates on August 11:

Clair Hardy, 26, of 3 Fisher Court, Ripon, was conditionally discharged for a year with 50 costs and 20 compensation for attempted theft.

Martin Hugh Johnston, 20, of 42 Verity Walk, Harrogate, was conditionally discharged for a year with 50 costs for being drunk and disorderly.

Nigel John Lythe, 39, c/o 30 Manor Court, Knaresborough, was fined 150 with 50 costs for assault.

Joseph Steven Sloan, 19, of 111 Lead Lane, Ripon, was conditionally discharged for a year with 50 costs and 155.65 compensation for criminal damage.

THE following were dealt with by Harrogate magistrates on August 10:

Gemma Louise Chambers, 22, of Room 2, 21a Cheltenham Crescent, Harrogate, was jailed for two months for theft and failing to answer bail.

Helen Louise Johnson, 34, of 3 Woolwich Cottage, Brearton, was fined 60 with 45 costs and four penalty points for speeding.

THE following were dealt with by Harrogate magistrates on August 9:

Zoe Ann Campbell, 18, of 9b Westcliffe Grove, Harrogate, was made subject to a 12-month community order requiring probation supervision and the addressing of alcohol use for being drunk and disorderly and for breaching a conditional discharge imposed for theft and assault on a police officer. Costs of 40 were also ordered.

Gary Peter Johnson, 28, of 20 Waterloo Street, Harrogate, was conditionally discharged for 12 months with costs of 70 and compensation of 200 for assault. For theft there was no separate penalty other than 70 costs and 4.85 compensation.

Howard Neil Ellison, 38, of Flat 8, 10 Mount Parade, Harrogate, was bound over in the sum of 150 to keep the peace for a year and had assault charges dropped.

THE following were dealt with by Harrogate magistrates on August 8:

Sarah Kathleen Francis, 25, of 7 Avondale Road, Harrogate, was conditionally discharged for a year for vehicle interference with a fine of 20 and costs of 50 for failing to answer bail. For second and third counts of failing to answer bail, fines of 30 and 40 were imposed.

Jamie Orchard, 18, of 8 Whitcliffe Avenue, Ripon, was fined 125 with 45 costs and three penalty points for failing to comply with a red traffic light.

Ben Parcell, 22, of 24 Stanhope Drive, Harrogate, was jailed for four months for theft, assault, threatening behaviour, possession of an offensive weapon, damage and failing to answer bail.

James Robert Pearson, 21, of 7 Mayfield Grove, Knaresborough, was fined 300 with 45 costs and six penalty points for permitting driving without insurance.

Matthew Cameron Pearson, 18, of the same address, was fined 200 with 45 costs and six penalty points for driving without insurance.

THE following was dealt with by Harrogate magistrates on August 6:

Michael Raymond Palmer, 26, of 18 Stanhope Drive, Harrogate, was conditionally discharged for a year for possession of heroin. He was fined 50 with 30 costs for being drunk in the highway.

THE following were dealt with by Harrogate magistrates on August 4:

Nicholas Trevor Baranovsky, 22, of 4 Avenue Terrace, Harrogate, was fined 200 with 50 costs and a 12-month ban for drink-driving.

Thomas Bateman, 21, of 43 Birstwith Road, Harrogate, was made subject to a 12-month community order requiring probation supervision, participation in an anger management course and treatment for drug dependency for assault and threatening behaviour. Costs of 50 and compensation of 50 were also ordered.

Jacqueline Tracey Coverdale, 38, of Ivy Villa, West End, Kirk Hammerton, was fined 150 with 50 costs and six penalty points for driving without insurance. She was fined 30 for not having a test certificate.

David Patrick Cunningham, 41, of 18 Albert Place, Harrogate, was conditionally discharged for a year with 50 costs for disorderly behaviour.

Tracy Helen Dobson, 41, of Ilton Lane, Grewelthorpe, was fined 150 with 50 costs and a 16-month ban for drink-driving.

Philip Neil Gray, 25, of 18 Bachelor Road, Harrogate, was fined 250 with 50 costs and a 20-month ban for drink driving.

Robert Daniel Gray, 18, of 37 Fairways Avenue, Harrogate, was made subject to a 12-month community order with probation supervision, 100 hours of unpaid work and participation in a drink impaired driver’s programme for drink-driving. Costs of 50 were also ordered along with a 28-month ban. A fine of 100 was imposed for careless driving.

Oliver James Lamb, 19, of 17 Knaresborough Road, Harrogate, was fined 100 with 50 costs and 293.10 compensation for criminal damage.

Rudy Powers, 55, of 47 Strawberrydale Avenue, Harrogate, was fined 250 with 50 costs for threatening behaviour provoking fear of violence.

Darren Mark Fowles, 24, of 17 Eastgate, Boroughbridge was fined 100 with 60 costs and 100 compensation for criminal damage.

Daniel Jos Horner, 28, of 13 Ely Close, Harrogate, was fined 250 with 60 costs and a one-year ban for drink-driving.

Eileen Joyce Grainer, 50, of 51 Eleanor Road, Harrogate, was conditionally discharged for six months with 80 costs for theft. She was fined 50 for failing to answer bail.

David Anthony Hollowed, 38, of Flay 7, 55 East Parade, Harrogate, was made subject to a 12-month community order requiring probation supervision and anger management for assault. Costs of 50 were also ordered.
