A Church Fenton-based film company has been showing its talents in New York this week.
Seven Videos won the American contract for a renowned global telecoms conference in Times Square after impressing with their quality of work at the London equivalent last year.
The WAN Summit allows industry experts to share new technology and networks and Seven Video were there to capture every moment.
Business Development Director Paul Sherwood has no doubt that they have earned this opportunity to operate on the international stage.
“We are really excited to be filming at the WAN Summit this weekend,” said Paul.
“Seven Videos are committed to delivering high-quality film that shines a light on the fantastic work of successful businesses, not only in Yorkshire but also across the world.”
Established by brothers Joe and William Sherwood in 2013, Seven Video Productions has grown from two young graduates editing videos in their basement, to a skilled team of five operating from their dedicated studio in Church Fenton.
Third brother Paul Sherwood came on board as Business Development Director in 2014 and the company hasn’t looked back.
A company in Saudi Arabia hired the team to film their part in the London WAN Summit 2016, and the Church Fenton outfit has since worked with the same firm in Paris.
After editing the video for the Saudi Arabian firm, Seven Video Productions had a lot of footage leftover and contacted the conference organisers offering them the remaining footage, edited, free of charge.
“The summit organisers used this footage to promote their next event and were so impressed with the quality that they invited us to film the New York and London conferences,” added Paul.
In addition to this week’s New York trip, the team recently met with the Department for International Trade.
Seven Videos also hope to benefit from a recent government pledge to invest more than £150 million in the UK’s creative industries.
“The future is looking positive, added Paul.
