Acceleris Marketing Communications is celebrating winning a new client and being reappointed by a current one.
The Harrogate company has been appointed by car dealership group Vantage Toyota, which was set up in Knaresborough in 2003, to support a new Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme.
An initial three-month campaign will see Acceleris launch and promote a community initiative that will invite local groups across Yorkshire and Lancashire to win part of a £12,000 prize fund to support their work.
The new client further extends Acceleris’s work in the motoring sector, which has become a significant niche practice for the agency. Recent activity includes integrated communications campaigns for fuel card reseller, The Fuelcard Company, as well as offline campaigns and events for the Daily Mail-owned used car business motors.co.uk.

The agency has also been reappointed by Kier as the retained national PR and communications agency for its maintenance arm, which holds one of the largest social housing repair and maintenance portfolios in the UK.
Acceleris was originally appointed by the company in April last year to raise its profile with local, national and trade media, help forge new commercial relations and improve communications channels across its 3,500 strong workforce.
The company generated over 550 positive press stories for Kier, reaching an audience of over 17 million and providing it with the largest share of voice on issues within the social housing maintenance sector.
