If you’re fed up watching indie bands and talented acoustic acts in scruffy pubs but don’t want to be one of 10,000 people squashed in a festival tent either, Kirkby Overblow Summer Arts Festival has just the thing for you.
In just a few weeks’ time, the very upmarket Party in the Park Festival will offer a great live music line-up on midsummer night, just perfect for an end-of-exam celebration.
This E Ticket-only event on Saturday, June 21 at High Snape Farm combines beer, food, fun and music in a spacious, lovely setting from 6.30pm-11.30pm.
The acts include:
Soulful singer-songwriter Bianca Gerald who has worked with the likes of Heather Small and Utah Saints’s DJ Tim.
BBC The Voice competitors Beth McCarthy and Rob Reynolds.
AMP Awards alumni Purple Mafia and Dukes of Bevington.
Eight-piece Manchester outfit The Tom Gee Band.
Popular local heart-throb Yo Preston.
The event is supported by FTAV, Theakstons and Charles Stanley investment firm.
Gates open at 5pm.
