BRAMHam Horse Trials is coming to the rescue of international riders still seeking Olympic selection.

After Badminton and Chatsworth both suffered cancellation due to weather British team selection has been delayed until after Bramham, meaning riders have been left without a run and a chance to impress selectors.

In order to ensure both, Bramham has extended an already packed programme, and opened up classes to extra competitors.

Cross-country day will now run over two days, Saturday June 9 and Sunday June 10.

Event Director Nicholas Pritchard said: “Riders and horses need to compete and fans have missed the action so we knew that if we could make it work, we simply had to. We’re looking forward to welcoming riders from all over the world for what potentially could be the most important competition of their lives and hope we can rescue the season for many.”
