Harrogate Town’s unbeaten run of five games unbeaten in Skrill North was ended in painful style in Birmingham on Saturday.

Simon Weaver’s troops were beaten 3-0 at Solihull to return to Yorkshire without a point.

Town welcome FC Halifax Town to the CNG Stadium for a West Riding County Cup quarter-final, ahead of next Saturday’s hosting of Altrincham.

Harrogate Railway captured a point from a 1-1 draw at Ossett Albion in the EvoStik First Division North.

Rob Youhill netted for Railway, while Paul Beesley later missed a penalty.

Tadcaster Albion’s 1-0 win at Armthorpe Welfare means they are now 22 games unbeaten in the NCEL Premier.

An own goal by Armthorpe sealed the result.

Knaresborough Town meanwhile won 3-2 at Worsbrough Bridge, Ben Clayton and Colin Heath the scorers.
