YOUNG Northallerton boxer Mark Johnson is forging an early path to success in the sport, winning his first ABA fight at Peterlee on November 14.
The 11-year-old, who attends Mill Hill Junior School won on a unanmious decision over Joe Jones from Bishop Auckland.

Mark is the youngest boxer ever to represent Northallerton and trains three times a week at Darlington Boxing Club alongside three national champions.

He is seen as a great prospect for the with his flashy style and footwork.
