Burglars in £4,000 raid on joiner's workshop

POLICE in Northallerton are appealing for information following a burglary at a joiner's workshop in the town.
Burglars broke into ATK Joinery in the High Street overnight on Monday, April 7, and stole a power tools – including Makita and Dewalt makes of drills, jigsaws, mitre saws, routers and laser levels – worth around £4,000.

The tools are all clearly marked with the letters ATK and officers are appealing for anyone who has been offered similar tools for sale or may have noticed them on sale at car boot sales or markets to get in touch. Anyone who may have any information or who saw anything suspicious in the area at the time of the theft is asked to contact PC Jim Egan at Northallerton Police on 0845 60 60 247, or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
