Join the Pantaloons at Kiplin Hall near Scorton for a lakeside performance of Geoffrey

Chaucer’s Canterbury Tales.

The Pantaloons are a young theatre company whose style draws from a wide variety of popular theatre traditions from commedia dell’arte and clowning to stand-up comedy and silent movies.

Their cast of just five actors presents every single one of Chaucer’s timeless tales in under two hours. Join the pilgrims for puppetry and poetry, music and magic, talking chickens and burnt bottoms.

Fast-paced, physical and funny, this show is pure medieval mayhem for the whole family. Canterbury Tales is to be performed by the lake on Thursday August 4 in the beautiful grounds of Jacobean Kiplin Hall.

Gates open at 6pm and the play starts at 7.30. Bring chairs and a picnic, and perhaps a bottle of something sparkling. Email info@kiplinhall.co.uk to book or call 01748 818178.
