A Great Ayton businesswoman received the backing of her local MP as she launched her new premises.

Richmond MP, Rishi Sunak, officially opened Amanda McGough and Associates’ new offices at the Terry Dicken Business Park in Stokesley last Monday as the health and wellbeing consultancy enters a period of growth, having taken on two members of staff.

Amanda McGough has over 30 years’ experience working for the NHS in various roles both as a clinician and senior manager in NHS Trusts, Primary Care and Public Health.

She set up her company in 2013 which provides health and wellbeing training for individuals, private businesses and public sector organisations. Amanda focusses on areas such as health issues relating to stress.

The MP said: “We are all more conscious of managing our health to cope with the demands of our busy lives so I am sure Amanda’s company has a great chance of success in this thriving business location.”
