A Richmond runner is gearing up for his 23rd London Marathon.
Ian Hepworth, from Skeeby, is taking part in next month’s race to raise money to support deafblind children and adults.
Ian, 69, from Skeeby, is a regular runner and completed the Budapest Marathon last October.
He is looking to raise £2,000 for Sense. So far, he has managed to collect over £650 for the charity.
He runs all year round in the countryside near his home and hopes to finish the race in less than four hours 15 minutes.
Ian said, “I absolutely love the atmosphere of the London Marathon and I can’t wait to tackle it again this year.
“I’m almost always outside, running all year round, and often compete in Park Runs and other distance races.
“I’ve run the Marathon for Sense previously and chose to fundraise with them again this year.”
