AN urgent plea has been made by the RSPCA for people to provide foster homes for abandoned cats and kittens.
“We have several cats in and around Northallerton who desperately need a loving foster home,” said June Levey, volunteer cat re-homing officer for Northallerton, Thirsk and the Dales.
“We are looking for people willing to take in a cat or kitten for a few days or a few weeks until the RSPCA can find permanent loving homes for them.
“Fostering can be very rewarding when you see a frightened traumatised little cat settling down and then moving on to a loving new permanent home.”
Anyone interested in finding out more about fostering can telephone June on 01609 776652 for an informal chat with no obligation.
