Help and advice for elderly residents at drop-in clinic

Older people looking for advice on are being offered drop-in sessions at Ripon library.

Sue Mills, the Information and Advice Manager for Age UK North Yorkshire – runs drop-in advice sessions, Friday 9-10.30am.

Sue can help with:

Money matters – information and free guides on pensions, benefits tax, financial products and services.

Insurance- home, car, holidays and travel, gas and electricity, and advice on funeral planning.

Health issues – advice on health and care services, going into and discharge from hospital, staying fit and healthy and mobility issues.

Housing matters, social care to remain independent and care homes.

Consumer issues, local services, activities and support for older people
