Families joined experienced runners at the hundredth Harrogate parkrun on the Stray.
The weekend run, open to runners of all abilities, has grown in popularity through 2013.
Organised by father and son team Adam and Will Prentis, an average 300 people attend the weekly event on the Stray near the Empress roundabout.
Adam, who is in the process of establishing a parkrun at World Heritage Site Fountains Abbey, said: “It is amazing to think we have hosted more than 100 runs now.
“We are averaging over 300 people, of course it is a little less when the winter sets in,
“The parkrun is open and inclusive, whether you are a top runner or a family, everyone is welcome.”
The Harrogate parkrun meets at 9am every Saturday morning.
