The Harrogate Candlelighters Committee hosted a chic evening in the surroundings of the very beautiful Royal Hall in Harrogate raising an astonishing £39,000 for this very worthy cause.
Over 250 guests including the former Mayor of Harrogate, Coun Robert Windass, who last year raised over £7,000 for Harrogate Candlelighters, presented his cheque to the committee during the evening.
All the guests danced the evening away to The Nightjars one of Harrogate’s leading bands. This truly special event was supported by many Harrogate and other local businesses, their generosity in support and donations helped make the evening another tremendous success.
