Ripon diving Olympian and Commonwealth Games triple medal winner Jack Laugher was “honoured” to start the seventh Shaun Lee Johnstone Memorial Multi-Terrain 10-mile run.

More than 150 runners turned out on the day with some coming from as far as London to take part in the race near Boroughbridge which raises funds for brain tumour research.

It is an undulating course made harder this year with the strong side wind but everyone seemed to enjoy the challenge.

The winner was Steve Brown from Swaledale Runners and the female winner was Tori Green of Ripon Runners.
