Police in Ripon would like information on the following incidents which have taken place in the area:

Monday, July 28:

– A brown Kona mountain bike with black delta grips and hausfelt handlebars was stolen from Canal Wharf, 
Ripon, between noon and 12.40pm.

– A dark brown leather handbag was stolen from the foyer at Ripon Library between 2 and 3pm.

Wednesday, July 30:

– A 19-year-old man has been arrested in connection with an assault on another man on North Street, Ripon, at 1.30am.

– A Vauxhall Corsa parked on Gallows Hill, Ripon, was scratched and then again on Thursday, July 31.

Saturday, August 2:

– Two men made off from a taxi on North Street, Ripon without paying the £10 fare at 10.40pm They had been picked up from Allhallowgate.

– Damage was caused to a Toyota motor car on Silver Street, Masham, overnight from Saturday to Sunday.

Sunday, August 3:

– At 4am, a window was smashed at a dwelling on Aismunderby Road, Ripon.

– A purse was stolen from a handbag at The Gallery, King Street, Pateley Bridge between 12.30 and 1pm. It is described as red leather, with a gold clasp.

– A 25-year-old man was assaulted on Harrogate Road, Ripon, at 7pm. Two men aged 27 and 29 have been arrested in connection with the attack.

– Police request any person with information regarding these or any other crimes to call North Yorkshire Police on 101.
