Ripon police are appealing for the public’s help after a burglary at a home in the city.

Theives took a laptop computer and its accessories in a Wenger laptop bag, along with a smart phone, bottles of champagne and several pairs of cufflinks from a property on Knaresborough Road sometime between Sunday, March 18 at 3pm and Tuesday, March 27 at 2pm.

PC Kelvin Kelvin Truoghton, of Ripon Safer Neighbourhood Team, said: “I am urging anyone who has information about this burglary to contact the police straight away.

“I would like to reassure residents in Ripon that crimes of this kind are very rare in the city.”
