Masham’s Black Sheep Brewery has raised £6,000 for Herriot Hospice Homecare charity with its special edition ale All Creatures.

The beer honoured Yorkshire icon James Herriot. It was launched in March this year by All Creatures Great and Small star, Christopher Timothy, and was sold until the beginning of June.

Five pence from each of the 100,000 sold was donated to the homecare charity which, like the brewery, celebrates its 20th anniversary this year. Rob Theakston, Black Sheep’s MD said: “We were tremendously proud of All Creatures and blown away by the response from our customers.”
