Cycle day success for Boroughbridge

MORE than 300 people attended Boroughbridge’s Family Cycle Day at the weekend which included a 12-mile return ride to Great Ouseburn Village Hall.

Puzzled members of Masham’s WI are appealing for help to find out about a mystery quilt discovered by their group.

Alex Bidolak, a master model builder from Legoland Discovery Centre, Manchester, who built and designed a Lego model of Harewood House, using 5,122 bricks, taking 60 hours to design and 36 hours to build with bricks specially ordered from Denmark. Birdwatching event at nature reserve

Avid bird watchers will be able to try out birding telescopes, binoculars and microscopes at a special demonstration day on Nosterfield Nature Reserve.
