Organised by Kevin Birch, the Azerley Estate Charity Clay Shoot will host its eighth annual event on Sunday, April 19.

Competitors will once again set their sights not only on the clays but also on raising much-needed funds for the Yorkshire-based charity, Support Dogs.

Teams are made up of four guns and if people are interested booking forms can be downloaded from www.azerleyclayshoot.co.uk – entry fee of £200 per four-gun team.

Kevin said: “We started this event back in 2008 with the hope of raising some money for the neo-natal unit at St James Hospital in Leeds. We never dreamt we would be here eight years later.”
