THE Knaresborough Players hope tonight, Friday's live show with acclaimed young folk band Kerfuffle will be the first of regular live fundraisers for Frazer Theatre.
Knaresborough Players Committee member, Pauline Bird, said: "We are delighted that Kerfuffle have returned with their energy and passion to help us raise the money we need to continue developing the Frazer Theatre. This is a great opportunity for new audiences to check out what the theatre has to offer following the completion of a major extension and works to improve disabled access.

"We're also really interested in any ideas the audience might have for other performances and special events that they'd like to see. Anyone who wants to get involved is more than welcome to join us – this is a community theatre, and we want to get as many local people on board as possible!"

Kerfuffle are returning to the Frazer Theatre tonight, Friday, 18 months after their last unforgettable performance.

Kerfuffle are stylish, immensely talented, and a whole lot of fun. Their brilliant live set is original and exciting, full of catchy melodies and poignant lyrics, including moments of black humour and deep emotion. With their vibrant playing, stunning vocals and even some clog dancing, these four innovative young musicians prove beyond doubt that folk music can be thrilling, modern and vivacious.

This concert is the first in what could become a series of live performances hosted by the Knaresborough Players to raise much-needed funds for the improvement and upkeep of the town's wonderful community theatre. Every penny of the profits from ticket sales and the licensed bar will go directly to the Knaresborough Players' LIFT OFF campaign.

The last few £10 tickets to the Kerfuffle concert are available from Pear Records in Knaresborough High Street or by calling 07540 792997.

The Frazer Theatre is situated just off the High Street, behind 'Tesco'.

Doors open at 7pm and the band are on stage at 8pm. There will be a licensed bar with real ale. Every penny of the profits goes to the Frazer Theatre's LIFT OFF campaign.
