A series of seminars and workshops for small businesses in Harrogate, Ripon, Knaresborough and the surrounding area is to be held in the coming months.
PR Partners, an organisation launched to support small businesses who want to do their own PR, will hold a series of events in Harrogate in April, May and June.
The organisation is run by former journalists Jenni Moulson and Rebecca Parsley and o
ffers free ongoing online support for those who have attended PR Partners events.

• 'How to write your own press release'
A practical, interactive workshop where you'll learn to write a well-structured media release tailored to your business as well as research and put together a targeted media list. Delegates will need a wireless-enabled laptop.

• 'How to tell and sell your business story – a guide to doing your own PR'
A two-hour seminar with plenty of practical advice and tips to take away. We'll give you an overview of PR, explain how to find the hidden stories in your business and catch the media's eye and tell you how to target your material to gain maximum coverage.

• 'Social media – join the revolution'
