THE marriage took place at St John's Church between Heather Lindsay Melrose, daughter of Sheila and David Melrose of Harrogate and Rory Leif Morgan, son of Judith and Mark Morgan of Florida, USA.
The bride was given away by her father and wore an ivory strapless beaded gown by Jill Stevens and carried a bouquet made of red, ivory and pink roses. Michelle Brown, Paula Ravenscroft, Lisa Skipper and Kirti Burgal were bridesmaids and Mark Morgan was best man.
A reception was held at Harrogate Golf Club.
The bride is a research scientist at the Mayo Clinic in Florida and the groom is a project manager for a design and construction firm in Boston.
